For General Dentistry inquiries, the FAQ section of the Canadian Dental Association provides a wealth of information. Alternatively, you can book a consultation with our dentists to answer specific questions regarding your oral health.
Regarding Insurance
We accept assignments from most of the insurance plans. In other words, if you have a valid insurance plan, you do not have to pay upfront, we will prepare the necessary documents and submit the insurance claim for you.
For example, if your plan covers a procedure at 100%, you do not have to pay us anything at all, we will claim the insurance for you. If your plan covers 60% of a procedure, you only have to pay 40% of the total, we will claim the rest from insurance.

How to take care of the teeth and mouth?
Twice-daily brushings and regular flossing, use toothpaste that contains fluoride, avoid food that contains a significant amount of sugar and avoid tobacco. Last but not least, make sure you schedule your routine check-up and preventative care to maintain your smiles’ health and beauty.
Do you offer emergency dental services?
Yes, emergencies happen and we would like to help. Our goal is to have you assessed and offer you a detailed treatment plan.
At what age should my child start having a dental check up?
Your child’s first dental visit should take place after the first tooth appears. The goal is to have your child visit the dentist before there is a problem with his or her tooth. Being proactive about your child’s dental health can help keep his or her smile healthy for life.
Do I need dental cleaning when I have fixed braces on?
Yes! In fact, it is even more important for patients receiving orthodontic treatment to visit their dentist regularly. With braces, food may be caught in places the toothbrush cannot reach. This causes bacteria to build up and can lead to cavities, gingivitis, and gum disease.
